Acne vulgaris is skin condition that occurs when the sebaceous glands in the skin become clogged , inflammed and infected with bacteria .
Stages of acne ???
1- white Heads .
clogged pores not open to the surface ( closed comedones )
2 - Black Heads :-
clogged pores open to the surface ( open comedones )
3- Pustule :-
Release of dead cells and bacteria ( inflammatory acne )
4- cysts :-
infected pustules penetrate deep into the skin ( cystic acne )
Factors that increase the development of acne ???
1- Male sex hormones
2- low Hygiene
3- Oily cosmetics
4- genetic factors
Advise patient to ...
1- keep skin dry
2- avoid picking , squeezing or scratching of skin acne .
3- good hygiene
4- avoid oily cosmetics
